In 1983, Weed was hired by the PGA TOUR, where he advanced to become their in-house chief golf course architect and was lead designer of many TPC venues, which continue to host sites for prominent PGA TOUR events.
Weed apprenticed under Pete Dye and collaborated with many of the TOUR’s most familiar names, including Sam Snead, Gene Sarazen, Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Raymond Floyd.
In 1994, Weed formed his own golf course design firm where he continues to design golf courses across the globe. Bobby has amassed an impressive list of accomplished golf courses that are consistently ranked at the top of their respective categories.
Bobby is also co-founder of the HEAL Foundation and father of a daughter profoundly affected with Autism.Back To Board Members Page
