Patricia Crosby

After co-anchoring the #1 morning show Good Morning Jacksonville for about 14 years, Patty Crosby now anchors the 7pm weekly newscast on ABC 25. She also produces a daily report for the 5:30pm newscasts and on Mondays she researches local websites for job openings to show viewers "Where the Jobs Are" to help them connect with a job despite the 12 percent unemployment rate in NE Florida.

Patty joined First Coast News in the fall of 1995, and in that time, has covered various major news events in the field like the JFK Jr. wedding, the fires of 98, hurricane Floyd, the election ballot controversy in Florida, the Governor's race in 2010 and continues to do
special reports.

Prior to Jacksonville, Patty got her start in TV news in Augusta, GA. While there, she earned a national SPJ award for reporting, and several awards for her community involvement, While in Augusta, Patty anchored the 6 & 11 newscasts for WJBF-TV and was named most popular anchor three years in a row.

In NE Florida and SE Georgia, Patty continues to work in the community. She is currently a board member of HEAL (Heal Autism Now) in Ponte Vedra, Lighthorse Learning in Camden county, GA, and is the President and Founder of PACT (Parents of Autism Coming Together) in Camden County. Most of her community involvement concerns her special
interests which pertain to children, including JDRF.

Patty is a graduate of the Henry W. Grady College of Journalism at the University of Georgia and has a degree in broadcast news. Patricia is married and has two sons. She has also rescued and is currently raising a dog, (Daisy) and 3 cats (Zammy, Boo and Snickers.)
