RIDING THE WAVE OF AUTISM Surf Camp presented by the City of Jacksonville, Beach and Sponsored by Sunrise Surf Shop, Ponte Vedra Rotary Club, Beaches Rotary Clubs and HEAL!

HEAL Foundation participates in RIDING THE WAVE OF AUTISM Super Surf Camp for Children with Autism. The 8th Annual Super Surf Camp is sponsored by the City of Jacksonville Beach, Sunrise Surf Shop, Ponte Vedra Rotary Club, Beaches Rotary Clubs and HEAL! Surf Camp is a four-day camp for beginners, providing surfing instruction on basic surfing skills and water safety. Administrators and instructors are from the Recreation Department, Ocean Rescue, plus EMT's and paramedics.

Our goal is to provide quality surfing, kayaking, boogie boarding etc…as well as  safety instructions for each camper by experienced surfers, lifeguards, paramedics and volunteers.  

We will be focused on giving our campers a solid base of ocean activities so that they will be able to enjoy these things for the rest of their lives.

The Surf Camp is located at 16th Avenue South, Oceanfront. Softboards will be available to all campers. For more information call: 904-247-6236.

Notes

• Mandatory parent(s) – guardian(s) must be present both days, all day.
• All participants must be abled ocean swimmers.
• Must be at least 8   years of age.
• Please no children with aggressive tendencies.
• Camps will be limited to 25 children. First come, first serve

* DOGS are prohibited on the beach between 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., so please—do not bring your dogs with you.
