The HEAL Foundation is proud to bring filmmaker Joey Travolta to Jacksonville for another year of fun and filmmaking. Travolta travels the country with his production crew, providing special need populations with a two-week film camp. Dates for this year are June 20-July 1, 2011. Fifty local kids between the ages of 10 and 17, 30 whom have autism, will have the opportunity to write, act, direct, and produce a collaborative short film.

Camp is held at the University of North Florida, and is presented by FilmLab Productions and MDI Holdings.

PLEASE NOTE! In order to participate, students must be NOMINATED and REGISTERED by a teacher or therapist.

Registration materials are going out in St. Johns, Duval and surrounding counties and are available from FILMLAB

Applications must be submitted for 2011 Film Camp by Monday, May 9, 2011.
