Summer camps are starting to take applications for 2008.  HEAL encourages parents to visit our local resources page to find out about programs for children with special needs.  Many camps fill up quickly.  Parents in the greater Jacksonville area should also look at Jax4kids.org.

New Parent Seminar

HEAL is proud to partner with Ponte Vedra Pediatric Partners to offer a seminar for parents whose children have recently been diagnosed with autism,  or wish to begin bio-medical intervention for their child. The goal of this program is to help provide a "jump start" to parents and caretakers at the beginning of their journey.  Attendees will receive:  an overview of beginning therapies and biomedical intervention, where to go for what information, and recommended first steps.

The seminar will take place on Saturday, February 23rd from 9am to 12pm.  The cost is $25 per person and $40 per couple and will take place at the Tournament Players Club, TPC Sawgrass Media Center at 110 Championship Lane.

Space is limited. Click here for more information.  To RSVP, click here.
