This may be the best year ever for the Valley of Dreams Gala and Bobby/Weed/Pete Dye Charity Golf Classic. The PLAYERS Championship and TPC Sawgrass are again hosting the HEAL Foundation and we have changed things up for 2009! The Gala will take place on June 25th at the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse at 5:30 PM. Tickets are $200 per person and still available. The Charity Golf Classic will be Friday, June 26, at the TPC Sawgrass Dye’s Valley Course with an 8:30 AM shotgun start. This event is a great way to support the HEAL Foundation and projects that HEAL supports across the First Coast. In the last two years, HEAL has granted over $550,000 to projects including camps, therapy, scholarships, and financial aid. Don’t wait to purchase your tickets to this year’s Gala or Golf Outing.

HEAL is proud to unveil “The Butterfly Project," a collaborative art project between local artists and children with Autism. HEAL's Partners, The Cummer Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Art - Jacksonville (MOCA) have joined forces to bring this project to fruition. These beautiful works of art, Interpretations of the Butterfly will be on exhibit for our Silent Auction at the “Valley of Dreams” Gala this year.

HEAL would like to thank MOCA – Jacksonville for hosting the Butterfly Project last week on their ground floor during Art Walk. Through Thursday, June 18th the paintings are being exhibited at The Cultural Center of Ponte Vedra, which is open from 8 AM to 5 PM daily. From there, the Butterfly Project will be dispersed throughout Regions Bank throughout Jacksonville and the Beaches. Regions will display the Butterfly Project until the paintings are exhibited at the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse next Wednesday, in preparation the Valley of Dreams Gala and Charity Golf Classic. The public is encouraged to visit the paintings at the Cultural Center, and Regions Bank.

Project Autism- Father’s Day at the F.A.R.M.

The address for the Father’s Day at the Farm was incorrect in our last newsletter. Project Autism will be honoring Fathers with children on the spectrum this Sunday, June 13th from 11:00 am to 2pm.
