Recovery Story: Logan
| |
To the left is Logan in April, 2004, before any biomedical treatment. Notice how I am holding his leg to keep him on my lap and using my other hand to keep him from bothering his sister too much. My husband and I call this period of our lives “The Dark Time”. It was full of frustration, tantrums, love, tears and lots of prayers. |

| To the right is Logan at his pre-k graduation in May, 2007. He attended regular pre-k with no assistance and did great! This was not reached easily. It has been two years of gf/cf with a bit of Feingold diet, hours upon hours of PT, OT, ST, addressing some major sensory issues, lots of vitamins and supplements, 54 HBOT visits, lots of love and even more prayers and tears. Even now—we are still fine tuning—this is a war that may never be truly over, but we have won a lot of the battles along the way. |
