HEAL Zoo Walk Was A Great Success!

More than $55,000 was raised at the HEAL Zoo Walk for Autism held Sunday, April 27th with over 1,300 walkers participating and over 100 volunteers assisting.

First Coast News Anchor and HEAL Board President Patty Crosby, and the Jacksonville Jaguar ROAR Cheerleaders led the way through the Zoo. Walkers enjoyed viewing exotic animals along the route which led to the HEAL After Party – "Party with Patty" Sponsored by Nimnicht Family of Dealerships. The "Party With Patty" had a climbing wall, bouncy houses, games, face painters and music! Vendors from area organizations were on hand to talk to families about their programs and services.

Proceeds from the Zoo Walk will directly benefit hundreds of children, teens and adults through specialized autism programs, camps and educational enhancements for classrooms in public and private schools throughout Northeast FL and Southeast GA area.

Thanks to all who participated, volunteered, raised money or donated to the HEAL Zoo Walk. Please mark your calendar now to join us April 26, 2015 for the next HEAL Zoo Walk for Autism!
