Dana is a Senior Vice President and Wealth Management Advisor at Merrill. Originally from Westport, CT, he graduated from Bryant University with a degree in Business Management and has been with Merrill since 1987. Over his 32 year career, Dana has been responsible for developing a highly successful wealth management team that provides private financial services to a limited number of wealthy families, non-profit organizations and closely held businesses. He and his team advise clients who have entrusted them with more than $1.3 billion in financial assets. Dana’s substantial experience assisting clients with complex investment, retirement, investment banking and estate planning issues have consistently placed him in the firm’s Director’s Circle recognition club. He has been an active member of civic organizations over many years including being named a Paul Harris Fellow at the Rotary Club of Jacksonville, President and Melvin Jones Fellow of the Metropolitan Lions Club and a longtime board member of Discovery Montessori School. Dana has been a volunteer youth coach for the YMCA and Ponte Vedra Junior Developmental Football. He was also the founder of the Great Ponte Vedra Paddle to benefit HEAL! and had a lead role as a community committee member of the American Lung Association Fight for Air Climb over many years. Dana was recently named to Forbes magazine Best-in-State Wealth Advisors in 2018 and 2019 and has been recognized by many other financial publications. Dana enjoys spending time with his family, downhill skiing, surfing and he is an avid golfer. Dana, his wife Jane and their children, Emily (24) and Charlie (21) are active members of Christ Episcopal Church and have been residents of Ponte Vedra Beach since 1989.
